WePROXA 2.0.0 is here! This release brings major improvements to debugging, performance visibility, and developer ergonomics.
New Features
Section titled “New Features”- Universal macOS build — single release supports both Apple Silicon (aarch64) and Intel (x86_64).
- Custom proxy port — configure and persist your preferred proxy port.
- Network timing metrics — per-request and per-response timing breakdowns (Pro).
- Remote address & HTTP version — now captured and displayed for each request.
- Copy as cURL — new context menu action to copy any request as a
curlcommand. - Map Local import/export — share and back up your Map Local rules (Pro).
- Duplicate rule action available across tools.
- Column visibility picker for the request list.
- Deep linking to settings sections with improved licensing UX.
- More keyboard shortcuts surfaced in the settings panel.
- Native platform certificate trust with a cached TLS connector for faster HTTPS.
- Dev-mode tracking off by default — analytics and error tracking disabled unless explicitly opted in.
Fixes & Improvements
Section titled “Fixes & Improvements”- Fixed column visibility state not persisting correctly.
- Map Local: preserve the original HTTP method when creating a rule from a request.
- Map Local: show a saved indicator after a file is written.
- Editor: suppress the unusual line terminators warning in Monaco.
- Error tracking: resolved the noisy “Script error.” reports in Sentry.
